In consideration of a problem of comparison of the reason and action in time, Okkam does not take any certain position, without accepting the thesis, as about their simultaneity, and the statement about their raznovremennost.

Okkam accompanies the analysis of the term "matter" with remarks on typical cases of his use. First, "the term a matter" is used in subject value. Often a matter (in the logician it is understood not as that is subject to transformation, and in sense of object or an object of science. Secondly, the philosopher uses the term "matter" for designation of components whole as some abstract subject; for example, the semicircle is part of a circle, in this sense a circle semicircle - "matter". In the third, the matter can be understood in sense of physical substance: the philosopher says that copper is a statue matter, that is, is used, designating what was not earlier. Fourthly, "matter" is in the true sense used in value of one of parts of real object, that is there is a differentiation of a matter and form. At Okkam the form is understood as the fiziko-geometrical characteristic.

Okkam's razor made a big contribution to development of science. For example, it was used for protection of heliocentric system of Copernicus against Ptolemaeus's system.

For the time Okkam's idea about material uniformity of space with the sublunary world was courageous. For the proof of this thought Okkam refers to the principle of simplicity or the principle of thrift which will receive further the name of "Okkam's razor".

By other principle Okkam distinguishes the following kinds of the movement: pushing, drawing, replacement, change, rotation. Replacement is observed in case of the thrown stone when the moving does not communicate with movable continuously. Pushing is observed when setting in motion communicates with movable until there is a movement, at the termination of the directing effort the movement is replaced by rest. Blow – a sort, both for replacement, and for pushing. Drawing is available when the moving moves something for itself, and movable is attracted behind another. Okkam considers as a kind of the movement change process in general. Rotation is observed when something moves round an axis and where there is a pushing and drawing.

Following Aristotle, Okkam emphasizes in the spatial movement, first of all a continuity. At Okkam it is not observed data of all types of the movement to the mechanical. The main advantages of the theory of the movement of Okkam are the concept of the self-movement and underlining of eternity of the movement. Okkam paved the way for galileevsky treatment of the movement and global audit of mechanics of Aristotle.

Finishing the analysis of philosophical, natural-science and logical views of the thinker, and also his followers can be noted that the okkamizm is a link in preparation of exact natural sciences and advanced philosophy of Modern times.

Areas of a suppozition and value not completely cover with each other. The theory of value can be considered as basic, the theory of suppozition – as interfaced to it. Across Okkam, the simple suppozition is important for logic, material for grammar, personal – for natural sciences.

Considering philosophical views of Okkam, it is impossible to ignore that contribution which the philosopher brought in logic. His semiotics ideas look is surprisingly modern. He was the original author of classification of signs.

Okkam distinguished simple knowledge where separate subjects are described by separate terms, and difficult where separate terms develop in offers. The simple knowledge of the first type can be both intuitive, and abstract. Without intuitive knowledge there would be nothing else, it rotates in the sphere of the possible. The intuitive knowledge acts also as one of the reasons generating abstract primary knowledge.
